I researched several consignment software companies. I searched by price, ease of use of the program and the support. In your quest to find the right software program, I urge you to consider ConsignmentTill. I made my decision after contacting current users of several other companies and the only replies I received were those currently using ConsignmentTill. This was important to me because "real" people were giving me their experience. I also considered price as well as the support I would receive after I made my purchase. Ron spoke to me in detail each time I contacted him by phone or email, BEFORE I even purchased the software. He was quick to reply to each of my email questions and if I had to call him, he either answered the phone or called me back in a short amount of time and treated me no different than a current user. Ron never tried to "sell" me, but allowed me to make my own decision. He never talked negatively about any other software programs or their owners. The morning I was to open for business, I had a critical issue that needed resolved. I called Ron, he answered the phone and spent all the time I needed to ask my questions. I'm very happy with my decision to purchase and use ConsignmentTill. ConsignmentTill does exactly what I need it to do to run my business and it is cost affective. You need to do your own research, but I can tell you that if you try ConsignmentTill first, you will save yourself a lot of time and money.
I just wanted to take a minute and say that we couldn't be happier with Consignment Till. It has helped us organize our inventory and is a very simple to use P.O.S. system. I don't want to make it sound like Consignment Till is a simple program. When I decided to open my children's consignment store I was doing so by myself with no hands on experience or guidence. I researched forever for the software I would use to run the store. Your software is amazing. If it was not for your software I would be doing things the hard way and trying to keep up with everything on paper. (Think of all the trees you are saving!) After being open just 9 months I now have over 200 consigners and 50 vendors and I can not imagine my store being successful without this program. Our art association had done considerable research, looking for just the right Point of Sale software for our all-volunteer consignment art gallery. We found there were several programs to choose from, but none that we explored were as easy to learn and to operate. Consignment Till has very easy-to-see colored buttons, which work well with our touch screen POS system. The program is very straightforward to use, which has made the training of more than 100 volunteer clerks much easier then we had imagined. Ron at RJFSOFT worked with us extensively, answering our countless questions, and even adding some new features to meet our specific needs. Consignment Till has been a great help in tracking sales, and with consistent barcode labeling of our varied sales items.
ConsignmentTill first came to our attention while attending a local consignment sale. The owner had just received the software and was thrilled with it. She took the time to show us a little of how the program worked, gave us the website address and told us how great customer support was.
We went home and checked out the website then downloaded the free trial. After playing with it for a few days, we contacted Ron, asking a few questions. Our questions were promptly answered and although we are not a consignment business, we purchased the software.
We use the ConsignmentTill software for our on-line business because of the ease at which we can manage our suppliers, inventory on hand and the detailed daily report break-down. We print customized labels for new products received in just one step. And since ConsignmentTill takes products out of inventory as they sell, we can tell at a glance when we need to re-order products.
We can't say enough about the customer support/service/follow-up. When we needed a couple of features tweaked to meet our needs, Ron had the fix within a few days and at no cost, upgraded our program.
We've purchased a couple of inventory/retail programs in the past 6 years, but were so disappointed with the difficulty at setting them up, entering inventory details and registering sales, that we gave up on trying to understand them.
ConsignmentTill is easy to use, understand and maintain. Any questions you might have, are answered thoroughly in the help section, at the website or promptly by Ron himself.
We can't say enough good things about this software and the ease at which it was integrated into our system.
I will definitely tell people about your product. I really like it and it's inexpensive. Another company called me about their software and they were shocked at what I paid for your software and what it all came with. They just pretty much didn't argue and hung up!! HA!
