If you want to charge a dollar amount per item sold:
Open window ADD ITEM, you enter the amount in textbox "$ Amount" within the "Store Commission" group box. Note: You can still enter a commission percentage as well.

Scenario: A consignor gives you an item to sell and says "I don't care what you sell it for, I just want $50 for it".  You decide to sell the item for $85.
Solution: In window ADD ITEM, enter the difference of the amounts ($35.00) into the textbox "$ Amount" within the "Store Commission" group box. Do not enter a percent commission.

Scenario:  A customer has brought their items up to the till to purchase. You have entered all their items but they decide to go back and look around some more. Another customer comes up to the till to purchase their items. You don't want to clear the order in progress to process the new order.
Solution: Minimize the current ConsignmentTill and run another instance of ConsignmentTill. To have instant access to another ConsignmentTill, always have two running at the same time.

If you are having problems removing price labels, make sure you purchase labels that are removable (Remove and Restick type).

It's a good idea to tag your SKU with the consignor number. This way you can keep starting your SKU at 1 for each consignor.
Consignor Number: 125
SKU: 6632
SKU to enter: 125.6632
If you use the decimal between the two numbers, you can have the column sort as numbers.

If you need to change the quantity, price, or delete an item in the shopping
cart (at POS), double click the item in the list.

When you have opened or selected a listing of consignors, you can press the
first letter of the last name to quickly find your consignor. Keep pressing
the same letter and it will scroll through all the consignors with the same
first letter in their last name.

After you have completed an order, you have the ability to change the Order
Notes tagged to the order. In menu Orders, click Review Orders. Find
the order you wish to edit and right mouse click on the listing. Select
"Edit Order Notes" in the pop up menu.

About 60% of people can curl their tongue into a tube. The other 40% are jealous.

Several windows have the option to APPEND the list. Use this feature if you
want to "add to" the list already generated. For example, you may want to
list items from several consignors,  in order to do this, you must have the
Append List option selected.

If you want to resort different fields in a list, just click the column
header. For example, in form Item Tools, select a consignor and list their
products. Now click on the column header called "Price". It should now sort
from smallest price to largest price. Click again and the highest price will
sort first.

Real bears are not cute and cuddly like fozzy or booboo bear (as seen on TV).

If the customer is paying the exact amount of the order (i.e. using debit or
credit card), just click the button for the type of funds received and ConsignmentTill will enter the total amount for you.

Put up little cards throughout your shop with "Video surveillance in
affect".

For most item listings, you can change the order of the columns. Click and
hold a column header and drag it to another location. Note: These changes
will be lost if ConsignmentTill is closed down.

When you make a payment to a consignor, the consignor is tagged as needing
an envelope printed. In menu Tools, click E-mail/Envelopes. Right mouse
click on the list of consignors and select the option "Check Consignors
Needing Envelope".

If you have Internet connected to the computer running ConsignmentTill, you should have three protective programs installed. Firewall, Virus Protection, and
an Internet lock. Internet locks are password protected so you can stop your employees from surfing the net while your out.

You should back up your database file at least once a day.
